Three ways to start

Pick whichever suits you. The first two are quick and need no email. The third deletes everything we hold about you, including from Google.

  1. 01

    Disconnect inside VP Marketing

Open VP Marketing, go to Connections, choose the Facebook, Instagram or Google account and select Disconnect. We delete the stored access token straight away and ask Facebook or Google to end the access. Owners and admins of a workspace can do this.

  2. 02

Remove VP Marketing at Facebook, Instagram or Google

Take our access away in your account settings. On Facebook you can also send Meta a deletion request, which reaches us automatically and is carried out at once. If you only use Instagram, removing us ends the connection, and you can ask for the data to be deleted by email. See the steps.

  3. 03

    Ask us by email

Tell us what to delete: the data from one provider, or your whole workspace. We confirm and finish within 30 days. See what to include.

Remove access at Facebook, Instagram or Google

Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Apps and websites (it may be called Business integrations), select VP Marketing and choose Remove.
  3. To ask for your data to be deleted as well, open View removed apps and websites, select VP Marketing and choose Send request.

Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to Settings and privacy.
  2. Open Apps and websites (it may be under Website permissions), select VP Marketing and choose Remove.

Google (YouTube, Search Console and Analytics)

  1. Open the third-party connections of your Google Account.
  2. Select VP Marketing and choose Delete all connections.

Menu names change from time to time. If you cannot find them, write to us and we will help.

What happens next

  • Facebook and Instagram. Meta tells VP Marketing that you removed the app (on Instagram, when you connected through Instagram Login). We check that the message really comes from Meta, delete your access tokens and end the connection. If you also sent a deletion request, Meta sends it to us the same way. We carry it out straight away, as described below, and give Meta a confirmation code and a link. Meta shows them to you, and you can use them to check the request.
  • Google. Google does not tell us when you remove access. The token simply stops working. To have the data we hold deleted, write to us.

What we delete, and when

Access tokens
Straight away: when you disconnect, or when Meta tells us you removed the app. If you ask us by email, as soon as we have confirmed your request.
Who connected
The Facebook or Instagram ID and name of the person who connected are removed when you ask Meta to delete your data (at once) or when you ask us by email (within 30 days).
Pages and Instagram accounts
The IDs, names, handles, profile pictures and details we received from Meta are removed. The account stays in your workspace's history under a neutral label such as “Removed Instagram account”.
Numbers from Meta
The daily account numbers (reach, views, interactions, followers and profile visits) and the statistics of posts are deleted.
Posts that were waiting
Drafts and approved posts that were meant for the removed account are canceled, so nothing is sent there. Their captions and media stay in your workspace.
Data from Google
On request, within 30 days: the access tokens, the Google account's ID and email address, your channel and site details, and the numbers we read from YouTube, Search Console and Analytics.

What stays

  • Your own content in the workspace: files, brand information, drafts and approvals. The owner can ask us to delete the whole workspace.
  • Posts already published on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. They live on those platforms, so delete them there.
  • A short activity-log entry that a connection was removed. It holds no name and no Facebook or Instagram ID.
  • Records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
  • Encrypted backups, for up to 14 days. Deleted data can sit in a backup until it expires.

More about what we collect and keep is in the Privacy Policy.

Check a request

When you ask Meta to delete your data, Meta shows you a link and a confirmation code. The link opens the status page. You can also type the code here.

You do not need to sign in. The status page shows only the outcome of the request and how much was removed, never your name or ID.

Ask us by email

Write to privacy@vp-marketing.com, or use the contact form on vyle-ai.com. This works for anything: data from Facebook, Instagram or Google, your account, or your whole workspace. Please include:

  • your name and the email address you sign in to VP Marketing with;
  • what you want deleted: the Facebook and Instagram data, the Google data, or the whole workspace;
  • the names of the Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts or YouTube channels, to help us find them.

Please do not send passwords or access tokens. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account. We confirm that we have your request within a few working days and finish within 30 days. You get a message when it is done.
